Fairlawns Hotel and Spa

We made the most of their Black Friday deals. We stayed the night, had dinner and breakfast with spa access. Love the facilities, the recent revamp of the thermal spa is a gorgeous way to laze the day away, with the toughest choice being which section to relax in next. The outdoor hot tub was a particular favourite of ours. Rooms are not only clean, but homely. We stayed in the loft suite which was just beautiful. Will definitely stay away. It wasn’t our first time at Fairlawns but it never disappoints.

We have just had our wedding there it was perfect from start to finish, the hotel management team and staff are 5 star, excellent service friendly people always there and happy to help. The food is amazing from breakfast to evening meal to our wedding breakfast every bite is delicious. Rooms are gorgeous clean beds are comfortable. Any one planning a wedding i highly recommend fairlawns will make sure your day goes to plan to the last minute of your day. We had an incredible and very relaxing day here. The facilities are great. We particularly enjoyed the sauna and the mud treatment, but what really makes this place special is the team. The energy from every single staff member was amazing; everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We finished the day with 50-minute massages which were fantastic. A special mention to Tia for the incredible massage and her helpful Elemis skincare recommendations. We will definitely be back in the future!

If we could give the hotel staff 10 stars for their level of customer service we would. We attended this hotel for our wedding anniversary and had encountered a few problems with the room that we were first allocated. We reported the issues to the Reception staff on shift at the time, who was extremely understanding and apologetic and went above and beyond to rectify the experience we first had by issuing us complimentary breakfasts both days. The lovely lady on Reception that evening, it's a shame we didn't get her name, would have given us a room change but the hotel was full and the duty manager was not on site to be able to authorize anything else. She also handed over our complaint to the duty manager Emily to handle the following morning. Emily made a special point to meet us at breakfast time and speak to us about the issues we had faced the day before and she was also extremely lovely, understanding and apologetic about everything and on top of the compliment we had received the day before, she added more as our room was upgraded and our spa payment credited back to us with unlimited to use of the spa added for that day. Also we would like to give a special mention to the staff members at the Spa who also were ever so friendly, helpful and accommodating and just added to the overall experience. As for the hotel and spa itself, it's absolutely beautiful and of a high standard, the grounds also are lovely and scenic. We would definitely recommend this place for any special event and would encourage anyone to report any issues they face to the lovely hotel staff and it will be dealt with to the highest standards of service. Visited today for our new Christmas tradition of a festive lunch in Bar 178. I have been thinking about the Festive Club Sandwich since our 1st visit last year. The lady who served us today was really lovely (sorry, didn't catch her name) and the sandwich was just as good as I remembered, so tasty, fries pipingg hot and the best gravy ever for dipping. I highly recommend it!

Went for a dinner party event. The reception and bar staff were most welcoming and helpful, nothing os too much trouble. The hotel was very comfortable and bright. Although we did not book overnight, those that did complemented on the bedrooms. Close to beautifully wild Sutton Park for walks and rambles.

I attended a 1st birthday party for my grandson last Saturday at this lovely place. The interior was bright and clean. The staff were absolutely amazing nothing was too much for them. They took on board every request my daughter and son in law asked for. The staff made the whole experience more remarkable and memorable . I must not forget the singing waiters who were brilliant. They entertained not just the children but the adults too. If anyone is thinking of holding a party then I would totally recommend The Fairlawns Hotel and Spa. It's not just a brilliant venue people remember its how well the staff made them feel. Thank you

Came here for my first ever spa day and was not disappointed. I didn’t know what to expect exactly, but had done a lot of research and looked at many different spas in Birmingham. The facilities were fantastic - spotless and modern. A wide variety of different rooms and things to do. We didn’t have any treatments and instead just moved around each of the rooms and pool. The food (katsu) was a lot better than I had expected it be too. Plus, breakfast was also included (which I hadn’t actually known until we got here). Overall, a fantastic day and spa - I will absolutely be back. Felt like we got really good value for money. Staff all lovely. Spa was relatively busy, (Friday) but the only thing we really struggled to use when we wanted were the hot tubs
